Whenever you look in the mirror, you can see one patch near your jaw. Even if you've gone on growing your beard for a long time, it will remain see-through.
You have used the oil from the pharmacy. You have used the one from the barbershop counter. Perhaps you've even used a growth serum that claimed to have results in just six weeks. All that you received was a shine and less itch.
The patch remains intact. The thin spot near your cheek bones is as well. You have begun to take pictures from an angle so that no one can see it.
The thing that most guys miss is this. Oil in one bottle is designed to perform one task. It is not to solve all your problems at a single stroke, but is to soften and bring shine to your beard.
Patchy, slow growth, itch, breakage, flaking and dullness. All of them have an explanation of why they are occurring. This implies that each one should have a mix. There's no single cure that will fix all the problems.
This is what this is. Seven oil blends each designed to correct a problem. All of them have added in to them ratios which you can measure at home. No guesses, no dropping a drop of this and that.
There is growth along the jaw line and cheek line and your mustache and chin are filling in as normal. This is the section of your beard that doesn't appear symmetrical. It's a beard lineer that cuts into the shape of your beard.
It's also the one area that men fret about the most. If your beard has been growing for months and it looks like it is not growing evenly, due to having a patchy beard, then it is not. This even makes you look bad if you do have a beard.
In cases where you have patchiness it is not a problem with how your beard is growing. Its an issue of the thickness of the hair in this region. Stimulation is more effective than conditioning for density.
Castor oil is rich in acid and is thick enough, so when massaged into the scalp, it will improve blood circulation. Use jojoba oil to tone down the weight of the castor oil so that it doesn't leave the skin greasy.
• You'll need to combine 1 tablespoon of castor oil with 2 tablespoons of jojoba oil in a dark glass bottle to fix it.
• Direct four to five drops into the area for 60 seconds working in circles.
• Then leave it in overnight 4-5 nights per week for at least four weeks before you see results.
It is the acid of the castor oil that stimulates your hair growth. It will stimulate blood circulation to the hair, which will provide greater nourishment in the area. This helps your hair to grow.
Some growth all over the beard. Beard is filling in well. It takes time a very long time. There are times when a month lasts more or less than 30 days.
This can be discouraging as it seems like your beard isn't growing. You cannot point to one issue when it comes to a feeling of falling below where your beard should be.
Some guys claim that slow growth is due to genes.. The length of beard is mostly determined by genes and not by its growth speed.
It is a fact that most male growers have low blood flow to their jaw and neck. This area receives less blood than the scalp as it is not as often massaged and stimulated.
• To repair it, you will need to mix 3 tablespoons of argan oil with 1 tablespoon of oil.
• Put on 6 drops on the face, spreading it over the beard.
• Massage below skin for 2 minutes in the morning.
• Afterwards, brush beard, ensuring that the oil permeates down to the roots, for thirty seconds.
The effect of Rosemary oil on hair density is similar to the effect of minoxidil. The two-minute massage is what actually helps to move blood into the hair. Withstand alone, the oil has little effect.
Your beard is not growing slowly, it's simply not growing. You had progress for a months and then it just stops.
This can be both irritating and disheartening as your beard feels like it's grown out. But the hair follicles are not inactive, they are simply silent.
Hair follicles go through growth and resting cycles. More of them can enter into rest simultaneously if they are over-stressed, sleep deprived and under stimulated. This will be a flat top.
Peppermint oils cooling sensation is a wakeup call that will trigger a response which will encourage follicles to return to active phase.
• The solution to this is using 8 drops of peppermint oil to 4 tablespoons of grapeseed oil.
• Massage for 90 seconds 5 times per night on the jaw and neck.
• Use a ruler to measure the beard every other week.
Grapeseed oil is light enough to not clog hair when it is blended with peppermint oil. When you feel the tingle, it's the working response.
The itch usually shows up around week two or three of growing out your beard. This is the time when the hair has grown out to curl against the skin.
It can be annoying. It's a typical reason why men shave off their beards before they could fill them in.
The natural inclination is to apply oil to the hair. Under the skin is the source of the itch.
The heat is being trapped by the hair and is drying your skin out more than normal. Many ointments don't work to relieve itching because they are applied to the hair instead of the skin.
• You will need to mix 2 teaspoons of seed oil with 3 tbsp of jojoba oil to correct it.
• Apply directly on the skin and not on the hair.
• Make sure to cover the skin in less than three minutes.
• Do every night for 3 weeks, then do every other night once the itching has gone away.
Jojoba oil penetrates your skin like your sebum, without sitting on the surface and rehydrating the skin. Anti-inflammatory compounds in seed oils soothe inflammation.
You have split ends. Beard hair has snapped off. They are not scalp hair damage.
The hairs will appear to grow in odd directions and they will never go down flat. This is a growth problem as each time the hair breaks it resets to 0.
The hair on the beard is coarser and drier than the scalp. Avoid using without oil due to a loss of elasticity. That means that it snaps when you're running your hand over it or sleeping on it to towel it dry.
• It is required to mix one tablespoon of vitamin E oil with four tablespoons of almond oil to fix it.
• After every shower, apply 4 drops to wet beard.
• At night use a silk or satin pillowcase or a beard cover to reduce friction.
Vitamin E strengthens the hair's cuticle and almond oil adds back elasticity. They both allow your hair to bend without breaking and prevent it from snapping during friction.
Beardruff appears quicker and more heavily than does dandruff and is similar in appearance. The beard traps skin cells against your face of letting them fall away like they would on a bare jaw.
This is a look issue as flakes on the collar of your shirt or dates shoulder can undermine your look.
The beard that is not exfoliated like skin, accumulates dead skin underneath. Where the beard is trapped, the skin is infested with the yeast that leads to flaking skin and is a breeding ground for them.
• The solution to the problem is to mix 6 drops of tea tree oil and 3 tablespoons of fractionated coconut oil.
• A week prior to using the oil, exfoliate the skin under the beard using a soft brush.
• Use four drops at night, massaging them into the face and neck areas where they tend to build up.
This tea tree oil has properties that work against the yeast overgrowth that causes most beardruff. The weekly scrubs remove the yeast's food supply, otherwise it would feed on the skin.
Your beard is becoming thicker and longer. Can still be coarse, dull and wiry. It may appear untrimmed in appearance, even if it is recently cut, from a distance.
Most of the time, it's the difference between a beard that gets compliments and a beard that gets tolerated that makes the difference.
If the hairs' cuticle are rough or flat, there is dullness. This is a normal condition as beard hair becomes coarser with age. It gets worse when you have water and drying soap removing the natural oils of your hair.
• You'll need to add five drops of cedarwood oil to four tablespoons of argan oil to correct it.
• Once towel-dried, apply 4-6 drops and massage with a boar bristle brush for 45 seconds, working from the roots outwards.
Avoid using a sulfate- based beard wash daily, and opt for a few times a week instead as it will prevent you from stripping the beard of its oils.
Argan oil is a good oil for the beard, as it contains a considerable amount of acid that smooths your cuticle, reflecting light evenly and giving your hair a smooth appearance. It's not about holding on to your moisture it is, it's about making it look shiny and healthy.
The issues you have with your beard are all interrelated. If you have a sparse beard, it is likely that you also have slow beard growth. After sometime, if you have itchy skin, your beard may begin to break off.
Your beard growth isn't just due to luck or one wrong habit. It's related to the health of your skin, the circulation of blood and the strength of your hair. For this reason it is not sufficient to use only one type of oil.
Oils are required for troubles.
• Use castor and jojoba oil on the parts of your beard that're patchy.
• Use rosemary. Argan oil all over your beard to help the blood flow.
• If beard is not growing well, use peppermint oil every night.
• Black seed oil on the skin as soon as you begin the beard growth.
• After showering apply vitamin E oil to prevent hair breakage.
• If you have flakes in your beard, use tea tree oil.
• When your beard is the length you desire, use cedarwood oil.
It may seem like a lot of effort. In most evenings, you will only be using one type of oil.
You'll have to wait 2 to 3 weeks before you can see any results. The itchy and flaky skin may disappear.
You'll see any changes within the patchy areas of your beard in about eight weeks. You may not notice any difference in your beard's appearance or texture in 10-12 weeks.
If there is a spot which has no oil, there is no growth of hair there. If you have patches of hair fall you should see a doctor.
If you only have one patch of hair that is not growing around your neck, or if your beard is simply not growing as it should, using different oils can do a lot to benefit your beard.
Hair follicles do not grow from using beard oil. It can promote blood circulation towards existing hair follicles. This can contribute to the growth of your hair and making it stronger. The most noticeable advantage it can bring is to your health of hair and skin.
Oil should be applied once a day immediately after showering. It's a time when your beard is still wet.
Yes you can. This is a patchy spots combination. Castor oil will allow blood to flow freely and jojoba oil will keep pores from clogging.
Yes it is. These oils can irritate your skin. That is the reason why it is advisable to combine them with oils, such as jojoba oil or argan oil. Test an oil on a area of skin prior to using on the face.
Usually takes 2-3 weeks to see any changes. You may find your beard is not flaky or itchy. Changes in the patchy spots will not be seen after 8-weeks. One can see any changes in the appearance and feel of their beard within 10-12 weeks.
If your hair follicles are not functioning properly, it can be beneficial when you have spots. Will not grow hair on an area where there is no hair follicles.
Yes, if you use the right type of oil. Tea tree oil is really good for this. It is beneficial in ridding of the yeast responsible for dandruff.
The best oil is jojoba oil, which is similar to your skin's natural oil. Another benefit of argan oil is that it revitalizes and shines your beard.
Yes you can. Simply use a little at a time. Use small quantities. As long as you need remember you can add more.
Approximately 4-6 drops are recommended per day. This is enough, for a medium-length beard. If you have a beard, you will require lesser amount of oil.
