Why Do Even Doctors Recommend This 1 Beard Oil Recipe for Dry Skin?

I am really really dry and flaky under my jaw by the afternoon. I have found flakes on the collar one too many times. Maybe I've even taken to keeping a lint roller near the mirror for that. I have tried brushing it out changing soaps even skipping a day of washing to see if it changes anything. None of it survives till lunch.

Most guys think oil will fix it. They think more ingredients and more smell will help. That's usually the thing for flaky skin. The longer the ingredient list, the the chance that something is going to irritate skin thats already fighting. Doctors keep recommending recipes that work better for skin.

That is part of the reason doctors tend to guide people toward formulas of blends. Less ingredients, ways for the product to make things worse. The recipe below is not complicated because complicated is not what my skin is asking for. It just needs the few things done the way. Beard oil doctors say keep it My skin needs.

Dry skin under a beard is not the issue as a dry beard.

2 Problems: skin under my beard and a dull looking beard. A looking beard usually just means the hair itself isn't getting oil. Either way beard oil can help. I have to choose one.

That distinction is important since a beard oil that makes hair shine isn't necessarily designed to fix my skin. Jojoba oil and squalane help both along. They help the moisture barrier of my skin. Also adds shine to the hair. Many shine-only oils leave out the ingredients my skin really wants. "Doctors recommend oil with jojoba oil and squalane "

Three Ingredients Doctors Keep Coming To

Jojoba oil, vitamin E oil and a touch of squalane are three ingredients that you'll see again and again when people give advice on flaking skin. Jojoba oil is similar to the oil that my own skin produces so that is why it is gentle enough for use and unlikely to clog my pores. Vitamin E oil helps the skin to retain moisture and helps in the repair of areas that are already compromised. Squalane goes a step further. Strengthens my skin barrier, the actual structure thats damaged when skin flakes. An oil is made up of three ingredients.

Vitamin E oil is good for the skin. It is good for dryness. Squalane is also very good. It helps me keep my skin healthy. The finest jojoba oil. "It's what the doctors tell you. These three ingredients are the secret of an oil recipe.

How to Mix a Batch for Delicate, Flaking Skin

Fragrance is one of the irritants for struggling skin so this recipe skips it altogether. The base is jojoba oil with added vitamin E and squalane in amounts. You will need a 2 oz dropper bottle, jojoba oil, vitamin E oil and squalane.

For a 2 oz. Batch:

  • Fill a 2 oz dropper bottle with jojoba oil leaving a room at the top
  • Add ½ teaspoon of vitamin E oil
  • ¼ tsp squalane
  • Seal the bottle. Shake for 15 seconds to combine

I do not need an oil for this to work. If I want a scent, one drop of chamomile per ounce is the one to go for. This recipe is easy. It is good for the skin.

Putting it on before my skin dries out again

I should slather the oil on my skin a few minutes after I shower when my skin is still damp. Dry skin has to work to bring moisture in. I lock it in. Wet skin will hold onto that moisture. I should use 4-5 drops for the two weeks worked into the skin under my beard. The oil needs to come from where the flaking skin is NOT a coating over the hair. Best time to apply oil is after shower.

I should be using the oil everyday." I can use the oil at night or in the morning. I like to put it on after I shower.

Washing without undoing what the oil just did

I've probably heard that washing my face dries my skin out." That is correct. It depends on what I wash with not on how I touch water to my face. I have oils that are great for my skin but a sulfate-based cleanser used daily will strip my skin. Gives the oil something to undo or protect the repair every morning.

I've got to wash my face. I should wash with a cleanser. I shouldn't use a sulphate based cleanser as it will dry my skin out. I have to wash my face with water every day. I need to use a cleanser a few times a week.

What Consistent Use for Two Weeks Looks Like

You'll typically see flaking start to ease up in four to six days. The tight uncomfortable feeling midday usually subsides around day eight to ten when my skin has moisture and a daily cycle of drying out and getting patched. After two weeks most guys forget about the collar check. That's often the sign the underlying barrier has stabilised not just been temporarily masked.

I will start seeing results in a days. My skin will begin to feel better. I won't have to worry about flaking. My skin will be healthy." I was to use the oil for 2 weeks. I will notice a difference.

How to Eliminate Flaking for Good

The flaky skin under a beard is not a sign I need a product. It is a sign my skin needs an oil applied at the time without fragrance working against it. That is why doctors keep recommending formulas that contain ingredients. In practice that means one regimen: mix up the batch apply it within minutes of a shower for the two weeks and pair it with a sulfate- wash a few times a week. I would expect to see flaking within a week tightness at midday by day eight to ten and a collar I don't have to check by the two week mark.

I should go with an oil formula. I should use it after my shower In days I will see results.

This recipe will not cure eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis or psoriasis. Those need a diagnosis Flaking with redness itching or spreading past the line is worth seeing a dermatologist about over trying any oil. It will fix the flaking caused by skin that never had the ingredients to repair itself.

If I have a skin condition I should visit the doctor. I suppose I should use the oil recipe. I'll put it on after a shower. I need a cleaner. I shouldn't use a sulphate cleanser.
