Rosemary essential oil can be safe for skin. Sensitive skin should start with a dilution, around 1% or about 6 drops per ounce of carrier oil than the standard 2%. It is worth doing a patch test 24 hours before use because rosemary essential oil is potent in amounts. If you experience any lasting redness or itching, after the test it is a sign to skip it or dilute further. You need to be careful when using oil on sensitive skin.
